I have ordered half a dozen guitars from Amazon in past few years, and each typically arrived in a large 2.5 x 4 ft overpack box and was packed very well.Todays' delivery of the Jay Turser JT-300 was really bizare - they shipped the guitar to me in California from the Amazon midwest warehouse using nothing more than the skimpy triangle shaped china cardboard box. The guitar suffered some road rash during shipping, because the box was wide open at the bottom near the lower strap button upon delivery.However, I'm keeping the guitar, which I intend to use as a R&D lab guitar for trying out various types of tremolo systems, before I cut into one of my Good guitars!The good news is the Jay Turser JT-300 is equivalent quality to a Rondo Music SX Hawk - with perhaps a better fret job than the SX. The JT-300's Rosewood fret board is nice, I like the 22 frets, and the Fender Starcasters at Costco, the bridge and Neck are actually mounted in the correct location ( i.e. it is intonated and plays well! )So yes, its a decent quality guitar, but Amazon is truly using scary methods to ship these guitars....
