Hey...when I find something I like............ Let me preface.....these are wonderful toneful pieces of wood that are nicely made.They ring very loud acoustically...sure sign of a great axe!! They LOOK great onstage and are sexy as hell! The ELECTRONICS (pickups) however, leave MUCH to be desired!! In short....they SUCK!! I WILL NOT accept mediocrity in MY instruments...they must PERFORM; and PERFORM to MY specs!! The humbucker is WEAK and toneless....no cajones to it! The single coils are noisy as heck and are mousey.....60 cycle hum....a thorn in the side of Stratocaster players since the beginning! NOISELESS single coils are the way to go!! The tuners (Ping) are horrible little pieces of dung! The saddles are cheap. After sinking about $300.00 in new pickups, tuners and saddles......these guitars are absolutely UNBELIEVABLE!!! I will put them up against a Fender Custom Shop instrument ANY day of the week!! So....for a total of about $1100.00.....these guitars (IMHO) rival just about ANY Custom Shop guitar!! And SAVE a couple of thousand dollars in the process!! Get one.....and 'do it up' YOUR way...with YOUR choice of premium pickups and such....you'll have a GREAT guitar!!...

Plugged it in right away, and it plays wonderfully. In tune right out of the box. Nice low action. Had doubts when I ordered it, but the satin finish is awesome. I was also a little anxious about the jumbo frets based on what I had read, but my fears evaporated when I played it. The big frets are really nice. Feels good and plays easy. I have mild arthritis in my left hand so I need a neck that feels well in my hand. This guitar fits the bill. My first Fender - I love it!...

I was expecting that it was made perfectly, but it wasn't... tremolo bar and booklet manual is missing too. The good thing is, it sounds great....
