This review is from: DBZ Guitars Bolero AB Electric Guitar, WhiteI have two DBZ guitars and this white one is one of them. I didn't have to do anything to the guitar out of the box. The action is perfect, no fret buzz and no cosmetic defects. The pickups are amazing. I was worried I was going to have to replace them, but to my amazement, the sound quality was exactly what I was looking for. The cleans are crisp and the distortions are superb. There is a clarity that comes out, nothing is muddy at all. This isn't going to give you a les paul sound, so if you are looking for a Les Paul sound out of this thing, get a Les Paul (I have one of those too)Not to discourage anyone from getting one of these, just saying, les paul sound you will not get. I wasn't looking for a Les Paul sound. What I have is a great guitar that gives me the perfect combination of everything. This is coiled tapped so you can split the Humbucker. I play everything from Hendrix to Slipknot and this guitar gives me all. It doesn't hurt to be running through a voodoo modded dual rectifier either. DBZ is a much better guitar this his old Dean line. Trust me, I have Dean's too and hands down, these DBZ guitars run them in the dirt. My other DBZ guitar : Cavallo and it plays just are nice as the Bolero Series.I did play an American made DBZ Bolero and could only tell minor differences and their cost: 3500, these Korean made Bolero's : 600.00 if you know where to shop beyond eleven just need to sign up as a member. I only plug them because they are the cheapest on the net for these DBZ guitars....
