Soy Milk Powder
We source our NOW Soy Milk Powder from whole, non-genetically engineered soybeans - a reliable source of vegetable proteins as well as Omega-6 fatty acids. For added benefits, our soy milk powder also contains an average of 2 mg of Soy Isoflavones per serving. It also contains typically 28 mg of Soy Isoflavones per serving. Soy Milk has no cholesterol and is extremely low in saturated fat. Since it has no lactose, it is a great alternative for lactose intolerant individuals or persons allergic to cow's milk. Soy Milk may be substituted for cow's milk in most applications or enjoyed alone as a delicious and refreshing drink.

It is, however, very good as an ingredient in other dishes. We use it in our yogurt base and in other recipes that call for powdered milk (sometimes of each).Recommended for cooking, but not for drinking....

Prepared as instructed (like the other reviewer pointed out)it is horrible and does not taste like soy milk and there is grit on the bottom no matter how much you mix it.So why didn't I give it a 1 star?Because I actually use it somewhat regularly in homemade baking mixes, like I used to with regular powdered milk and it works like a charm. No aftertaste, weird textures, or anything. It won't work for every use of standard (non powdered) soy milk but I find it very useful for some of my most used and favorite recipes....

There are 95 servings per bag which is a fantastic bargain compared to Better Than Milk Vegan Beverage Drink (32 servings @ twice the price). I usually mix soy powder in a mason jar and shake well. This was the most disgusting mess I've ever encountered with powdered mixes. Pancake batter type globs in the bottom. I pressed it through a mesh strainer, put it it processor, and then drained it through a cheesecloth. After all that work, it tasted horrible. NOT worth the trouble.I will try to cook with it. If you are looking for something to drink, travel with, or take camping, etc, stick with Better Than Milk brand. It's delicious, mixes easily, and you can't go wrong with it....
