It is perfect for my uses which include live performances and a lot of small group jamming. It looks great and plays great. No complaints. I'd rather play slide on this guitar that my 1966 Martin D-18 so I don't beat up "Marty"! Great resonator guitar. You would have to pay many, many times more to find a resonator with noticably better sound/performanc. But, yes, it's a Jay Turser....
