This review is from: Washburn Paul Stanley Series PS1800CMK Electric Guitar - Cracked MirrorThe Washburn PS1800CM is an Indonesian made guitar with a real cracked mirror top, set neck, hot humbuckers, and split abalone/MOP fretboard inlays that totally rocks. Paul Stanley is a guitar player and singing icon and this guitar imbodies his influence on design and function and rock and roll attitude. The neck is thin and fast and the look is totally unique. The natural sound of the guitar is much fatter than Paul's so you will have to tweak your amp and/or pedalboard to replicate his bright/punchy tone. The mirrored top shows some imperfections where the mirrored pieces have been handled and placed together but this appearance is normal for this type of guitar. DON'T SPRAY THE TOP WITH ANY LIQUIDS BECAUSE THEY WILL SEEP THROUGH THE MIRRORED TOP AND RUIN IT! This design has roots in the Iceman but is edgeier without the smooth flow of the Ibanez. These can be had for around $1,000 used so if you have the funds and want a truly unique instrument designed by a true artist than you owe it to yourself to check this axe out....
