This review is from: Epiphone Limited Edition \"1958\" Korina Flying-V Electric Guitar, Alpine WhiteBased on the EXTREMELY RARE Gibson Flying V made way back in 1958, this is the ULTIMATE Flying V in both looks & sound!Produced in VERY Limited amounts mostly for the Japanese market this is a work of art! fitted with Classic Alnico V's it has a firey tone but can be mellow when you want it to be.As for its origins this is a "K-ON" inspired variant used by the teacher in the Series Sawako. It features only in Season 1 Episode 12, in "Lets Go" The version used has Gold Grover tuners, this is likely the prototype for this guitar.All in all a very good looking guitar and has the output to back it up. K-ON! or not this is a model destined to shoot up in value......
