Properly set up it, the intonation is very good and I like the tones I get get from it. As an acoustic player to start, I was surprise by how sensitive the guitar was to my finger pressure. It is easy to play with a light touch especially compared to acoustic guitars. I did not like the tremolo bar and decided to take it off and lock the tuning down. It is easy enough to inflect the notes by bending on the fretboard, and how much whammy bar stuff do you really need to do for most songs? It holds tune well, plays well, and for the price it is a good deal. I like the way it looks and expect it will hold up a very long time. My only complaints are that it is a sort of heavy and before the tremelo bar was removed, I had a hard time keeping it in tune....
