This review is from: Hagstrom HB-4 Bass Guitar (4 String, Black Gloss)I bought this based on magazine reviews and it sounded like a nice short scale bass, but I was disappointing with it. Out of the box it was setup poorly and had considerable buzzing. Also the top strap pin was poorly installed (poor workmanship).It had a 6-way multi selector for the pickups, but I could not find a decent sound with any of the settings. And the pickups were noisy.The packaging was also very poorly done and it had little protection during shipment (though it did arrive Ok).I returned it since I just wasn't happy with the quality of it. It just seemed like it was poorer quality than I was expecting....
