This review is from: Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus Electric Guitar, Heritage Cherry SunburstI got this guitar about a month ago and I have not found anything wrong with it yet. I love everything from Gibson. If you are looking for your first Gibson than I would recommend this guitar. Many guitarists will get the Gibson Studio but it has a much wider neck than the other gibsons. Some of the guitars features are locking Grover tuners that hold its tune very well. A locking input jack is really nice because if you accidently pull on the guitar cable than it will stay in the guitar. The inlays on the fretboard are fabulous. The neck easy to get around and you are able to play notes faster. The finish on the guitar is very nice but not the best that Gibson offers. the tone is definatley the best that I havw heard from a guitar that I have played. If you are looking for a guitar that can sustain an excellent sound than this guitar is right for you....
This review is from: Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus Electric Guitar, Heritage Cherry SunburstBought this guitar back in early summer 2010. I've owned several Gibson guitars in the past, but the finish on this one (Honeyburst) took my breath away! Move slightly, and the color changes with the amount of light. Not only gorgeous, this guitar rocks hard. I'm not a big fan of the pots, but everything else measures up to the high expectations of a Gibson product. If you're serious about owning a fine quality instrument/investment, put this one into consideration! A+++....
