The guitar was also ready to play right out of the box with just a few strings needing to be tuned. Maybe I just got lucky. Everything looks and feels great. The EMG's however arent as great as I thought they would be but this to be expected also since they are not active. Maybe I am just picky though! All in all this guitar is great for the beginner and pro alike! Especially for the price. I also want to mention I had first bought this guitar from "Musicians Friend". Big mistake, I usually get all of my music equipment from them and have for some time, however I am tired of them listing stuff that isn't in stock. After about a week I asked why it hasn't even been shipped yet and got some robotic reply. Anyways my fault for not going to Amazon first, a mistake I don't plan on making again!...
This review is from: Schecter Damien-7 7-String Electric Guitar (Satin Black)This is my first 7 string electric guitar, I have 4 other Schecter 6 string electrics, and I have been playing for 20 years. I wasn't sure how I would like the black satin color, but once you see it in person it looks really good and I love the bat inlays on the neck. This has a bolt on neck, but it feels rock solid and stays in tune really well. I only had to adjust the intonnation slightly, otherwise it was ready to play. The passive EMG pickups sound great, not quite as good as the active's, but plenty of crunch and clarity when you need it. Adapting to the wider neck and extra string was not as difficult as I thought it would be, and that low tuning on the the 7th string sounds awesome on power chords. I like that you can play it just like a regular 6 string when you need to, then switch to some real low heavy riffs on the lower string. If you are thinking about buying your first 7 string electric, but don't want to spend a ton of money, this would be a great choice. I know I am very happy with it....

Arghhh!But Ovaltine Malt in hot milk made me feel like I wasn't completely sacrificing.And the vitamins and minerals made me feel OK about adding all that sugar to my diet.NOW - - they've changed the recipe! It used to have about 3 times the vitamins - especially B's - that it does now!I had noticed a change in taste - it wasn't as rich - and clumped up more.Then I looked at the label.WHY? Another very disappointed fan.It's like the new coke thing. Somebody screwed up - and they will be losing lots of loyal customers, like me....

Yet, that has gotten old after awhile, and kids don't honestly get enough in the way of taste. Fortunately, there is another option for taste, and that is Ovaltine. It is a great Malt mix that is simple and easy to mix into your favorite glass of milk, hot or cold. The taste is absolutely delicious, in each and every cup and has extras like vitamins and a extra dosage of calcium which is something other mixes like Quik from Nestle don't often display in their drink mixes. I absolutely recommend Ovaltine as a great buy in your grocery cart anyday of the week.Price: BTaste: A-Overall: B+...
